The vision of the institute focuses on value based education, interdisciplinary research and sustainable development . The students of College are not only guided to achieve excellence in the education but are thoroughly equipped with the knowledge of social perseverance and environmental sustainability. It lays special effort on students understanding of current environmental crisis and through its various schemes like energy conservation, waste management, rain water harvesting, plantation drives urges them to become eco-friendly citizens. The college has a rich and long association with the society. The institution is playing important role in conserving Sanskrit and Oriental knowledge. The professors of this institute have displayed their learning capabilities and  varied  talent genres  on numerous occasions. The teachers have a depth knowledge and have done extensive research in Sanskrit literature. At times confusion prevails in the society on issues like observing fast,  determining  tithi or the auspicious date,  festival dates ,Sanskar, shraddh, solar and lunar eclipse, sutak etc. On such occasions the scholars have provided the correct solution to the society acceptable  all. Every year the department of Jyotish and dharamshastra determines  the govt. holidays  according to the Hindu calendar. College magazine titled VAIJAYANTI used to be printed since many decades, is revived in the year 2014.  At present this magazine is a pear reviewed  refereed research journal. Distinguishing features of this college is printing many collections of research articles in book forms. The students and teachers of this college work responsibly in the society. The best feature of this institution has been that the faculty members of this institution gather every year on Ashadhi Purnima for Vayu Parikshan at Jantar Mantar to predict rainfall and discuss the possibility of rainfall in the coming year. College promotes experiential learning like Yagya and Hawan to make students confident enough to perform the Yagya and other activities related to this practice. Educational Visit to JANTAR- MANTAR to provide knowledge of astrologer's calculus to the students .Along with this, to make them able to prepare Panchang, prepare Janam Kundli, prepare Prashna Kundli and determine the dates of fasts and festivals and to prepare them as resource persons for a very specialized service. The college has been publishing its own panchang (Maharaj Panchang)  since 2018. Value Education The main objective of the college is to inculcate a sense of moral values among students. To promote the age old sanskrit language and literature the teaching and learning process is conducted in Sanskrit medium. Oriental studies are patronized and propagated. It is the good fortune of this institution that the state government has decided to issue a Hindu Calendar this year and its responsibility has been entrusted to this college.The perspective of the institute is to re-establish the Indian ideals and values through Vedic thought. The Techo-savy Students of the global age have been able to imbibe the ancient knowledge. The faculty members of this institute play important roles in the main festivals of Indian democracy i.e.elections. This institute is authorized as a training institute for elections.
